February 22nd marks 6 Years since the Fatal February Christchurch Earthquake.

Christchurch is still dealing with Earthquakes, and now Fires on the Port Hills, 6 Years ago the devastating Earthquake that done damage to an already damaged and broken city, and killed 185 People.

Today marks the 6 Year Anniversary, and today a new memorial masterpiece was revealed in the City of Christchurch.

Whilst 185 people were killed many more were injured (Expected 1500 - 2000)

Of the 185 Deaths, 115 of these were inside the CTV Building in the Central City.

The Central City, and eastern suburbs were severely hit, changing the makeup of the city, Moving the city outwards towards the North, South and West. Today many of the eastern suburbs and around the Avon river, remain as green spaces caused by the red zoning of these areas.

Christchurch has a long way to go if the previous 6 years are anything to go by, but Cantabrians have proved to be strong and resilient. The rebuild has started, and some progress is being made. But still a long way to go.

Our thoughts are with the people of Christchurch, and the people who went through those earthquakes 6 Years ago.
